How we review Tapstitch

What this site is

Tapstitch Reviews is an independent review aggregator. We are not Tapstitch and we don't work for them. Our goal is simple: collect what real users say about Tapstitch across the platforms where they post it, then organize it so you can make an informed decision in a few minutes instead of an afternoon.

Where the reviews come from

We aggregated 122 published reviews across 2 platforms. We did not write, edit, or solicit any of them. Every review is the words of a real Tapstitch user, quoted from its original source:

• Trustpilot· Merchants and one-off buyers, most of them invited by Tapstitch after an order; the unprompted reviews are far more critical.
• Shopify App Store· Shopify store owners who connect Tapstitch to dropship their own apparel line.

Tapstitch averages 4.4 across 660+ ratings on two platforms. The reviews on this site are a hand-picked snapshot of that corpus, chosen to reflect its recurring themes, critical reviews included.

How we score and tag

Each review is tagged by sentiment (positive, mixed, or critical) and by audience (brand owners or personal orders), so you can filter to the perspective that matches you. The verdict score on the homepage is the count-weighted average of the platforms' own public ratings, using the counts listed above. Our snapshot skews toward written and critical reviews on purpose, so its plain average (4.2/5) can run lower than the platform-wide figure. Neither number is made up, and neither is weighted to flatter the product.

Trustpilot marks each review as invited by the company or unprompted. In our October 2026 pull of 300 Tapstitch reviews, 173 invited reviews averaged 4.77 stars and 127 unprompted ones averaged 2.53, so we show both kinds. The homepage theme scores come from every review in that pull plus all 124 Shopify App Store reviews: the average rating of the reviews that mention each theme, rescaled to 10.

Review lists open sorted by "Most relevant": detailed, recent reviews that describe what Tapstitch did for the writer come first, drawn from a mix of platforms, and the critical ones come after. Switch the sort to Newest, Highest rating, or Lowest rating, or filter to Critical, to read them in another order. The order never changes the averages above, which count every review we show.

Why we publish critical reviews

A review site that only shows praise isn't a review site. We include the negative reviews on purpose: the billing complaints, the support frustrations, the edge-case bugs, all verbatim and unedited. Balance is the entire point. It's what lets you trust the positive reviews too.
